Andrews students compete in McCamey UIL Academic Meet

On Saturday, January 30, a group of AHS students braved the “fierce” West Texas cold and loaded up on a bus at 6:10 in the morning to compete in the annual McCamey UIL Academic Invitational meet. Sponsors Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Holder, Mrs. Ervin and Mr. Galvan accompanied the students. Despite the early start, it was a successful day for Andrews High, which received seventeen individual places as well as four placing teams. The following people placed:

On Feb. 6, Andrews will attend the UIL Academic meet in Monahans. By the way, it’s not too late to get involved with UIL Academics.
